    More than 14,000 people took part in Glasgows recent Race for Life event, which was launched by 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, along with cancer sufferers Ben Magee and Adele OBrien. The UKs biggest Race for Life event, like previous ones, managed to bring many people together to raise money for a good cause.

    It has recently been announced that a number of extra tickets will be going on sale this month for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. More than 100,000 tickets will be available from 12th May on a first come, first served basis.

  • Auditions begin for opening and closing ceremonies at Commonwealth Games

    According to The Scotsman, the auditions have officially begun for this years Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Glasgow. On 6th March, around 150 people gathered at the Film City studio in Glasgow, all hoping to be a part of the Commonwealth Games this summer.
